Makeup MODTERM EXAM
This is a course that explores the relationship between Media, Culture and Society. Using specific
examples from The Filter Bubble, in addition to direct references to the theories and ideas raised in
O’Shaughnessy and Stadler answer the following question:
In what ways are ideology, discourse, and hegemony central to our understanding of media-worlds?

regardless of the reasoning, will automatically be assigned a grade of zero.

Answers longer than 6 pages will only be graded for the material on the first 10 pages.
Answers less than 5 pages will not receive a passing grade.

□ Essays that fail to make direct references to course texts, using quotes and specific examples will not
receive a grade higher than a C
